Susanna Solbak

Biography

Susie obtained her veterinary degree from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in 2011. Following graduation, she gained one year of experience working in mixed practice. In 2015, she completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. That same year, she pursued a Specialty Internship in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at UC Davis, California. She then completed her Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Residency at the University of Wisconsin–Madison from 2016 to 2019, passing her board certification exam in 2019.

Since then, Susie has been working as a specialist in clinical practice in both the UK and Norway. Her primary interests include teaching small animal emergency and critical care, all things sepsis, toxicities, and patient safety.
